About Us

We believe no one should face cancer alone.

In March 2000, the Cancer Education and Research Foundation (CERFT) was established to begin providing treatment through clinical trials to nearly 400 cancer patients and to assist these cancer patients and their families with various needs.

In the spring of 2010, the name was changed to Cancer Assistance Fund of North Texas (CAFNT) to focus on offering core programs and services to cancer patients regardless of where they might receive care for their cancer in North Texas.   We offer counseling services, financial assistance, screening and wellness programs for those who have been affected by cancer.

Our Mission is to provide opportunities to empower patients, their families, caregivers, and health professionals to become partners in cancer care.
